L’ambition de la stratégie de recherche de l’ Université Mohammed VI des Sciences de la Santé est de positionner cette institution au niveau national, régional et international en matière de recherche clinique translationnelle et de développement de l’approche « médecine des systèmes ». A travers son Centre de recherche, l’Université Mohammed VI des Sciences de la Santé vise également à constituer l’interface régionale pour « l’implémentation science » des recherches opérées dans les pays du Nord pour en faire bénéficier les pays du Sud avec l’expertise et la levée de fonds qu’elle requiert.

Les objectifs de recherche de l’Université Mohammed VI des Sciences de la Santé se déclinent comme suit:
  • Assurer le bénéfice de la recherche pour le patient;
  • Contribuer à l’amélioration de la santé de la population;
  • Constituer une infrastructure de recherche aux normes internationales;
  • Se doter d’équipes de recherche interdisciplinaires d’excellence.
Pour atteindre ces objectifs stratégiques, notre Centre de recherche se dote de trois plateformes qui réunissent en un lieu unique les technologies les plus avancées en biologie et sciences de la santé et en gestion des connaissances:
  • Un centre de recherche translationnelle avec une plateforme technologique mutualisée entre les différentes activités de recherche;
  • Un centre d’investigation clinique (CIC) accrédité selon les normes internationales;
  • Un centre « Health Knowledge for Action and Policy » (K4A) pour la traduction des résultats de la recherche en bonnes pratiques cliniques, en interventions de santé ou encore en politiques basées sur les évidences et adaptées au contexte marocain.

Le dernier centre K4A sera organisé en plateforme de gestion des connaissances (Knowledge Management) de portée régionale qui, non seulement tiendra à jour l’état des connaissances dans le domaine de la recherche biomédicale et en santé, mais les traduira pour un usage pertinent et profitable aussi bien pour le patient que pour les autres bénéficiaires (décideurs, communautés et  grand public).

En partie destinées à la recherche, les plateformes sont aussi ouvertes à la formation interne et externe, ainsi qu’aux partenariats avec les institutions publiques et entreprises privées opérant dans le domaine des sciences et technologies de la santé et de la recherche biomédicale.

Pour s’associer aux meilleures équipes de recherche dans le monde, l’Université Mohammed VI des Sciences de la Santé conclura des partenariats productifs et durables avec des centres de recherche thématique de renommée internationale. Un premier partenariat avec le centre de recherche de l’UFR des sciences de la santé Simone Veil, de l’Université Versailles Saint-Quentin-les Yvelines, a permis de faire valider l’infrastructure et les équipements du Centre de Recherche de l’Université Mohammed VI des Sciences de la Santé.

Notre atout collaboratif réside dans:
  • Les sujets d’intérêt portant sur des populations et des cohortes avec des particularités épidémiologiques, génétiques, etc.;
  • L’excellence et la qualité des équipes pluri et trans-disciplinaires opérant au Maroc et dans la région;
  • Des infrastructures et des équipements aux normes internationales.

La finalité est de permettre une analyse bibliométrique des publications scientifiques effectivement réalisées au nom de l’Université Mohammed VI des Sciences de la Santé (UM6SS). La Bibliothèque UM6SS encourage activement les Facultés, les Grandes Ecoles, l’HUICK et l’HUIMVI ainsi que chaque composante de l’UM6SS à la rejoindre dans cette démarche en relayant ce message à leur population concernée par la réalisation des travaux de recherche publiables.
